Continuation Breakout Tuesday 11AM 11/04/2025

November 4, 2025 5 min read

Overall Sector and Industry Analysis (EST range analyzed: 2025-11-04 09:00–11:00, with a few pre/pre-market prints included where provided)

Note: Only intraday data for today was provided. I’m inferring 10–30 day momentum from gap size, trend structure on 30-min candles, and relative volume versus typical.

  • Semiconductors/AI hardware (AMD, MU, KLAC, TER, ARM, FN): Led risk-on at the open with strong gap-and-go behavior, then midday digestion. KLAC and TER held higher levels best; AMD showed RS, while MU/ARM cooled off after early strength. FN printed an explosive opening range expansion and held mid-range.
  • Cyber/AI software and cloud (CRWD, PLTR, SNOW, ADBE): Broad early strength, then mixed follow-through. PLTR is the relative leader (higher volume push and holding upper-third of the morning range). CRWD and ADBE faded modestly. SNOW lost momentum and drifted toward session lows.
  • Financials (GS, JPM, CB): Strong early impulse, with GS the clear leader (fresh HOD push near 806 then orderly pullback holding higher lows). JPM firm but consolidating below morning highs; CB steady.
  • Healthcare services/distributors (CAH, HCA, MCK): Strong, steady accumulation tone. CAH broke out cleanly to new intraday highs and held pullbacks; HCA firm; MCK constructive.
  • Consumer/retail/hospitality (MAR, SHOP, WSM): MAR showed leadership (trend from open, shallow pullbacks). SHOP had a large gap then gave back significantly (likely needs time). WSM steady grind higher.
  • Energy/industrial services (AESI, ACDC, CLB, POWL, FERG): High relative volume open across the group; AESI held up relatively well post-spike; ACDC/CLB gave back a piece. POWL gapped, then pulled back to mid-range; FERG steady.
  • Other standouts: AER continued a controlled grind higher; PLTR kept upper-third and RVOL leadership; GS maintained trend integrity.

Notable patterns:
– Broad risk-on open followed by late-morning digestion. Leaders are those holding above their opening range/VWAP with higher lows: CAH, KLAC, GS, PLTR, MAR, TER, AMD, AER.
– Faders that need rebuild before continuation: SNOW, SHOP, CRWD (unless they reclaim VWAP/HOD zones).

Ticker Performance Prediction (next 2–3 days)

Likely to push higher (bullish bias): CAH, KLAC, GS, PLTR, TER, MAR, AER, AMD
Strongest bullish signals: CAH, KLAC, GS, PLTR

Individual Stock Analysis

CAH
– Supports: 195.20; 194.48; 190.70–190.40 (LOD zone prior to the breakout)
– Resistances: 196.96 (HOD); 198.00; 200.00
– 30-min outlook (2–3 days): Expect tight consolidation above 194.5–195.2, then a push through 197–198 toward 199.5–200. If 194.5 fails, look for a back-test of 193–192.5 before reattempt higher.
– Swing targets (1–3 days, ATR-style): 197.5; 199.0; stretch 200.5
– Entry ideas: 195.2–195.8 pullback-to-hold; add on 197.0–197.2 breakout
– Stop: 194.3 (tight); wider 193.4 if using add-on plan

KLAC
– Supports: 1220.6–1219.8; 1214.3; 1200
– Resistances: 1225.0; 1229.5 (HOD zone); 1235.0–1245.0
– 30-min outlook: Holding upper range suggests a flag. Above 1225, look for a quick test of 1229–1231, then 1235+. Lose 1219 and a dip to 1214–1215 is likely before basing.
– Swing targets: 1230–1235; 1242–1248; stretch 1255
– Entry ideas: 1219.8–1221.5 support tag; breakout >1229.5
– Stop: 1213.5 (beneath morning base); conservative 1207

GS
– Supports: 798.0; 791.8–790.0; 783.0
– Resistances: 802.2; 806.0 (intraday spike high); 810–815
– 30-min outlook: Expect a higher-low build above 791–798 and retest of 802–806. Clearing 806 could open 810–815. Lose 790 and you likely see a deeper retrace to 783–785 before another attempt.
– Swing targets: 803–806; 810–815; stretch 820
– Entry ideas: 796–798 hold; add on reclaim/hold above 802.2
– Stop: 789.8 (tight); swing 787.0

PLTR
– Supports: 192.40; 191.80; 190.83
– Resistances: 194.55; 195.42–195.70 (HOD band); 197.0–199.0
– 30-min outlook: Favor upside while holding 191.8+. Expect a range break over 194.5 → 195.7; if accepted above 195.7, momentum can carry to 197–199. Lose 191.8 and a test of 190.8–190.0 likely.
– Swing targets: 195.5; 197.2; stretch 199.0
– Entry ideas: 192.4–193.2 pullback; breakout >194.6 with tight stop
– Stop: 190.7 (tight); swing 189.9

TER
– Supports: 180.24–180.42; 179.10; 176.3–176.6
– Resistances: 181.33; 181.83; 182.32 (ORH)
– 30-min outlook: Expect a squeeze through 181.3–181.8 toward 182.3 if 180.2 holds. Failure to hold 180.2 invites a drift to 179.1 before rebid.
– Swing targets: 181.8; 182.8–183.5; stretch 185.0
– Entry ideas: 180.3–180.8 support, or on reclaim >181.35
– Stop: 179.0 (tight); swing 177.9

MAR
– Supports: 271.18; 270.79; 270.17
– Resistances: 272.99; 275.21–275.29 (HOD band); 276.5–278.0
– 30-min outlook: Holding 270.8–271.2 favors a push back to 273.0 then 275+. Lose 270.2 and a deeper fill to 268.5–269.0 is possible before rebound.
– Swing targets: 274.5; 276.0–276.8; stretch 278.5
– Entry ideas: 271.2–271.6 tag-and-hold; add on break/retest of 273.0
– Stop: 269.9 (tight); swing 268.4

– Supports: 131.65; 131.00; 130.68
– Resistances: 132.08–132.43; 133.00; 134.00
– 30-min outlook: Slow-grind trend likely continues if 131.6 holds; look for a breakout over 132.4 toward 133+. Lose 131 and you probably revisit 130.7 then rebound.
– Swing targets: 132.4; 133.2; stretch 134.0
– Entry ideas: 131.6–131.9 hold; breakout >132.45
– Stop: 130.9 (tight); swing 130.4

– Resistances: 256.81; 257.38 (HOD); 260.00
– 30-min outlook: Expect chop-and-go; above 256.8 opens 257.4 then 259–260. Lose 253.9 and a flush to 252–251 possible before buyers step in.
– Swing targets: 257.5; 259.8; stretch 262.0
– Entry ideas: 255.3–255.9 higher-low build; breakout >256.9
– Stop: 253.6 (tight); swing 252.2

Risk notes and trade management
– Use partial entries at supports with add-ons only after higher lows form or break/retests hold.
– Size down on names that showed fade-and-fail patterns today (e.g., SNOW, SHOP) unless they reclaim VWAP and convert it to support.
– For momentum breaks, keep stops tight just below the breakout level to avoid post-break pullback traps.
